The name's Rob, I'm an unapologetic, shameless metalhead and as you can probably see from the pic above I am a lifelong lover of all things Opeth. You'll most likely find me hovering around the newest extreme metal releases and trying to absorb whatever lurks in the underground, later writing my thoughts whilst stroking my chin and adjusting my non-existent fedora. In all seriousness, I embrace other styles too. Sure, 90% of the bands I write about are linked to extreme metal, but I'll give everything a go from bubblegum pop to mind-bending jazz.
